Climate Essentials BCP Council Programme

Climate Essentials has been working in partnership with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole council since 2022. We have successfully helped several local businesses to report their carbon emissions and start working towards their net zero goals.Our second programme was launched with BCP council in November 2023, and will be running until 2025.BCP council has obtained UK SPF funding to support SMEs in their journey to becoming net zero.

Businesses with under 250 employees and based in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area can sign up to Climate Essentials for a year for free. The programme includes access to a carbon calculator, personalised reduction plan and 1:1 support.

Access Climate Essentials to get your organisation to Net Zero

BCP council has obtained UKSPF funding to support businesses in their journey to becoming net zero. Businesses based in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area can sign up to Climate Essentials for a year for free.

*BCP Council is providing you with grant funding through the BCP Council UKSPF allocation as Minimal Financial Assistance under the Subsidy Control Act 2022 through the provided access to Climate Essentials. However, before making payment of this diagnostic support, BCP Council requires confirmation that receipt of the payment will not exceed your organisation’s MFA threshold of £315,000 cumulated over this and the previous two financial years, as specified in section 36(1) of the Subsidy Control Act 2022. This means you must confirm that you have not received more than £315,000 minus the value of the assistance (value based on business size - see bullets below) in MFA subsidies or comparable types of subsidies (see section 42(8) of the Subsidy Control Act 2022) during the elapsed part of the current financial year (i.e. from 1 April) and the two financial years immediately preceding the current financial year.

1-10 employees (1x site) - £120 per licence
11-50 employees (up to 3x sites) - £350 per licence
51-100 employees (up to 6x sites) - £650 per licence
101-250 employees (up to 10x sites) - £1500 per licence
